information is temporarily stored in a log file:

- Browser used, and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your access provider
We process the mentioned data for the following purposes:

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 P. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.

b) Mailings and newsletters
As a member of a local lawyers' association affiliated to the DAV, you will receive regular information (e.g. the lawyer's sheet), newsletters or information about our events. The sending takes place for the purpose of membership information and thus for the fulfillment of our statutory tasks as well as the statutory tasks of the lawyers' associations affiliated to the DAV (Art. 6 Para. 1 P. 1 lit. b DSGVO). The membership information is also in our legitimate interest and in the legitimate interest of the lawyers' associations affiliated to the DAV (Art. 6 Para. 1 P. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
If you register as a non-member for one of our services and / or newsletters and expressly consent to this, we will use your data in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 P. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

If you have any questions, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using a form provided on the website. It is necessary to provide a valid email address so that we know who the request came from and to be able to answer it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.

The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after the request you have made has been completed.

- The transfer according to Art. 6 Para. 1 P. 1 lit. f DSGVO is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests or to protect the legitimate interests of third parties and there is no reason to believe that you have an overriding interest in the non-disclosure of your data,
- In the event that for the transfer according to Art. 6 Para. 1 P. 1 lit. c DSGVO has a legal obligation as well
- This is permitted by law and in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 P. 1 lit. b DSGVO is required for the settlement of contractual relationships with you.
4. Cookies
Information is stored in a cookie, which results in connection with the specifically used end device. However, this does not mean that we are immediately aware of your identity.
We differentiate between necessary and optional cookies.
The use of session cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. So we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after leaving our site.
In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness, which are stored on your end device for a certain specified period of time. Visit our site again to use our services, it is automatically recognized that you have already been with us and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.
On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for you in order to optimize our offer (see para. 5). The data processed by functional cookies are for the purposes mentioned to protect our legitimate interests and third parties in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 P. 1 lit. f DSGVO required.

5. Analysis tools
The tracking measures listed below and used by us will only be approved after your approval. Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit a DSGVO. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure that our website is designed to meet requirements and continuously optimized. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for you in order to optimize our offer.

For the purpose of designing and continuously optimizing our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service Google LLC. (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; hereinafter „Google “). In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies (see Section 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as
- Browser type / version,
- operating system used,
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
- Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
- Time of the request,
are transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide other services related to website activity and internet use for the purposes of market research and the needs-based design of this website. This information will also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking).
6. Online presences on social media
The DAV maintains online presences on Facebook, LinkedIn Twitter, Instagram and Xing. User data is also processed here outside the European Union, where rights enforcement based on the DSGVO is not possible. 7. Affected rights
You have the right:
- to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO. In particular, you can provide information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a Right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data, unless it has been collected from us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable request meaningful information on their details;
- to request the correction of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by us immediately in accordance with Art. 16 DSGVO;
- to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 DSGVO, unless the processing to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims is required;
- to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO, insofar as the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you do so to assert, exercise or need defense of legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO;
- in accordance with Art. 20 DSGVO to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transmission to another person responsible;
- to revoke your once given consent at any time in accordance with Art. 7 Para. 3 DSGVO. As a result, we must no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future and
- to complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 DSGVO. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our registered office.
8. Right to object
If your personal data are based on legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 P. 1 lit. f DSGVO are processed, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO, insofar as there are reasons for this that arise from your particular situation or that the objection to direct advertising is directed. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we implement without specifying a special situation.

9. Data security
We use the widespread SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in connection with the highest encryption level, which is supported by your browser, within the website visit. As a rule, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether a single page of our website is transmitted encrypted by the closed display of the bowl or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.
We also use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
